dangerkid django
Django is a bit of a hipster. A quick witted kid with a mischevious twist, he’s out mostly for the fun of it all. Clever, expressive, and daring, Django keeps himself close to the center of whatever excitement is at hand. I came up with Django as a sort of foil for the other two characters, a joker who would lighten the mood when things get too serious.

Babette is a girl on a mission. The world is broke and she’s going to fix it. Fearless, driven, principled and not afraid to call things like she sees them… sometimes her honesty is what gets her in trouble.

Babo was born just over a year ago in the pages of one of my favorite sketchbooks. He is at once alive with potential and still calmly introspective. I’ve drawn him in everything from space suits to samurai swords and he never fails to get a smile.
